I think we dealt them a huge blow, but I'm sure there is someone else to take his place. This person will probably not have as much power, or popularity, but regardless, bin Laden's death is more symbolic and emotional for the American people than it is an actual gain in the "war on terror."Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1656918276292872533.post-62080876586232324812011-05-03T08:49:51.404-05:002011-05-03T08:49:51.404-05:00I'm no cheater :P. If only for them to prove that they're not less of a threat just because their leader is gone.

Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to meet a person like that face to face and talk to them about why they're as evil as they are. Why it is that they have so much malice towards other human.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1656918276292872533.post-91293416257596679552011-05-02T09:17:22.249-05:002011-05-02T09:17:22.249-05:00Honestly, this whole thing has me worried. I'...Honestly, this whole thing has me worried. I'm definitely not expert on terrorist groups, but I have to assume that they're setup so that one person's death isn't going to stop the entire organization. I imagine employee turnover in that industry is pretty high, and I also have to imagine that they're smart enough to realize that anyone in their organization can get knocked off at any moment. They're smart enough to plan for that reality. Bin Laden's death didn't take away their weapons, and it didn't take away their motives. They hopefully lost some resources out of it, but I highly doubt that.

So what'd Bin Laden's death do, then? I worry that it only gave Al Queda more reason to retaliate against the West. They turn on the news and see much of the world celebrating as if Al Queda has been squashed. That worries me.Dustinnoreply@blogger.com
